SI Superwinch industrial SI-18 is engineered and designed to be powerful, fast, safe and reliable. With improved features making a versatile winch ideal for heavy recovery installations.

The versatility of assembling in a variety of orientations making it ideally suited to front & rear Unimog & truck installation with an industrial compliance & higher line pull will suit larger vehicle & extreme recovery conditions. This unique ability of multi-option of free spool & motor porting positioning creates a perfectly positioned installation for front & rear mounting. This was put to good practice on the SI18 hydraulics purpose built by B&C Winches for the new NSW SES U5023 Unimog rescue vehicles as pictured. 

SI-18 a 18000 lb (8165 kg) planetary hydraulic winch is assembled in Australia. The power, speed and reliability comes from a 24:1 ratio heavy duty steel 2 stage industrial planetary gearbox driven by a high torque hydraulic motor. A 200% load holding hydraulic release brake with dual direction motor mounted load control valve provides safe operation in both power in and out direction. This all comes together to give the new Superwinch SI-18 the proved and tested power to perform with safety and reliability in industrial winch applications.

Supplied as standard is a manual pull and turn free-spool release, optional is the pneumatic or remote mount cable release. With the versatility of multiple free-spool positioning options giving multiple winch mounting options.

A heavy duty high compression steel drum makes the SI-15 suitable for high tensile steel rope or synthetic rope, which ever best suits your application.

SI-18 hydraulic winch optional features include an on the winch mounted spring applied roller style cable tensioner to assist with even rope layering, prevention of rope bird nesting and better cable protection. The heavy duty steel vertical and horizontal winch mounted guide roller assembly assists with rope control and winch protection.

The Superwinch Industrial SI18 is ideally suited to heavy recovery including military vehicles and heavy recovery applications.
